Hi, I’m Jo and I’m the happy human behind Happy Anorak. I’ve been making happy creative things for as long as I can remember.

I’ve written blogs and stories, poetry and love letters and always have a writing project on the go.

I’m a clickaholic, especially when I’m travelling bits of this huge world. My photos are my favourite souvenirs.

I still treasure the two months I spent alone in Paris, writing, eating, drinking, dreaming, exploring, wandering the streets and taking photographs.  It was the perfect place and space to create, and so I gave birth to my very first range of greeting cards.

I’ve been the singer in a band, had a few guest spots on community comedy radio, have a dream to speak fluent French and Spanish (oui, si?) and can strum a few chords on a guitar. I did all the fun parts of a diploma of professional writing and editing and I’ve volunteered as a writing mentor for Roomers creative writing program.

I’ve been a fitness instructor, a personal trainer, a soccer coach and have completed a half marathon.  I love wine tasting, matching, drinking and even partnered with friends to plant a small vineyard.

Most importantly, I’ve created two small humans, (Sam – 6 years and Kate – 4 years) who are of course my biggest works in progress.

I hope you’ll enjoy browsing the Happy Anorak website, read my blog  and maybe even buy a quirky card or gift for yourself or someone special. May your day be happy and creative.
